POST 6: EXPERIENCE IN ONLINE CLASSES
To be honest, it’s difficult for me to write about my
experience in online classes, because there are moments that I´m happy to not
to have to use the subway in the mornings or have to go outside with the cold
of the winter or the sun of the summer. But, also there is other moments that it is really
demotivating have to study in the online way, because I can´t do and learn the
things that I supposed that I should be studying and I can´t see my friends,
teachers and classmates. It´s very sad just be sitting on front of the computer
all day.
I think the first semester was easier for me, because
the university moved courses and we started some of them first, for example, in
august I was finished all my subjects except for one and that helped a little
bit to adapt me to the quarantine and the online classes.
But now, the second semester it´s been a nightmare, I have
the courses that I we should do in the first semester mixed with the second, so
It´s been hard to be able to have time for accomplish with all the assignments.
In addition, for subjects like audiovisual language, radio and photojournalism we
have to use special programs in our computers and my device and internet
connection are not the best, so do the tasks are more complicated now.
Also, I hate and its really demotivating for me when
the teachers say to us the things that we can't do for having classes in the
middle of a pandemic, because I feel like I´m losing my time in the lessons.
However, I´m very thankful for the teachers who do their best to adapt his
classes to the online modality and when they understand that all the students
have different situations and problems.
In addition, I thinks it´s very bad when the teacher
force to some students to active her cameras and microphones without a notice,
because I understand that there are moments that it is impossible have silence
and a good connection for be able to stay all the class with the camera and
microphone on.
Probably, the thing that I most enjoy during this new
modality it´s be able to spend more time with my sisters and help them with her
homework, see movies and just talk about the life, because I´m from Chillán and
study in Santiago means that during the year I don´t live in the same city as
my family.
The online classes have been different for everyone,
some classes are better adapted to others, some prefer have the lessons from their
homes but for me, I just want the covid-19 and this modality end the most quickly
that could possible.
ResponderEliminarI also think that we save a lot of transportation time, but in the end the pc consumes everything and we cannot take advantage of it
The second semester has also been a nightmare for me
ResponderEliminarI agree with how terrible this second semester has been, also I hate being on the computer all day
ResponderEliminarI agree with you very much, I think it has been a challenge for all of us this new methodology
ResponderEliminarSimilar things happen to me; it's annoying in some classes the demand for cameras or microphones on, it's difficult to learn without the elements and programs, and some teachers forget that we can't all have what they ask for.
ResponderEliminarThis last part of the year for me feel the same! What a nightmare!
ResponderEliminarhahah I agree! I hate the subway
